Hi Fellow Woodlawn Members,

This is a reminder to sign up for the next Stroke Play tournament Saturday, September 1st, at Pelham Bay beginning at 8:28 AM. The final deadline to sign up is this coming Tuesday, August, 28th. Once I receive all the names, I will set up the appropriate matches and create tee times as normal, and will forward them to you in advance.

Since we did not start a sign up sheet at the last event, most of you will be sending e-mails to sign up over the next couple of days. Again, the final deadline is Tuesday!!

The Woodlawn Golf Club offer our sincerest sympathies to the family of Kathleen Doherty. Kathleen is survived by her children, Denis, Sean and Ann and her husband John. John Doherty has been a member of the Woodlawn Golf Club for over 40 years.

Kathleen is being waked today – August 10 – from 2:00 PM-4:00 PM and 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM at F. Ruggiero & Sons, 732 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. The funeral mass will be Saturday at 9:30 AM at St. John the Baptist Church in Yonkers.
