Sign Up for First Stroke Play Tournament Sat. April 7th
Hi Fellow Woodlawn Members! Please e-mail me (bmarshallsports) by tomorrow (Tuesday, April 3rd) if you wish to play in our first stroke tournament this Saturday at Pelham Bay beginning 8:36 am. Everyone needs to show up 30 minutes prior to this tee time. Those already signed up from last weekend’s 2 ball scramble for this coming weekend are:
Mike Curtin, Dan Curtin, Thierry Elias, Tom Tuffy, Kieren O’Sullivan, Kiernan Brosnan, Joseph Firth, Jimmy Murphy, Martin Moss, Gerry Murphy, Micky McCourt, Pat Laferty, John Solon, and Pat Smyth. I believe that others wanting to play include Dean Marriccini and Stephen Carey, but please confirm.
I would love to be there next weekend, but unfortunately my son and I will be walking all 4 days at the Masters… somebody has to do this right? In my absence, Seamus Finnerty has offered to step up and organize the event this weekend. Should you have any questions, feel free to contact him at seamusfin0725@aol.com, or on his cell at 914-649-1196.

Congratulations to Pat Smyth and Joseph Firth on winning our opening 2-Ball Scramble with a net 62 in tough conditions at Pelham. Complete report posted in “Results” page.
First Tournament Saturday March, 31st
Next Saturday, March 31st, is our opening event for the 2012 Woodlawn Golf Season. It’s 2 Ball Scramble Event at Pelham Bay. First tee time is 8:04 am. All golfers should arrive at least 20 minutes prior to that first tee time to sign in. Tomorrow (Monday, March 26th) is the deadline to sign up for this first event. Please e-mail me at bmarshallsports@aol.com if you plan to participate. If you have a partner, please send me who it is so that I can begin to organize foursomes. If you don’t have a partner, just let me know and I will pull together a list of “singles” that we can pair up for the event. This event is a lot of fun, and the only scramble we run each year, so try to make it!!
