This is a reminder that tomorrow (Tuesday, June 12th) is the deadline to sign up (email bmarshallsports@aol.com) for the Woodlawn Golf Event this Saturday, June 16th, at the Links beginning at noon. Once again, after we receive the final list tomorrow, we will go ahead and set up matches that are to be played this Saturday, and send you the tee times ahead of time. If you have a preference to compete in a certain match, please let me know by tomorrow. We will try to accommodate everyone as much as possible based upon the who is playing, and what deadlines we are facing.

We have been drawn against the Durty Nellys for our next round of Interclub.
That match is to be held at Casperkill in Poughkeepsie, on June 24. Match details and team composition will be decided by our team captain, Tom Bennett.

Considering the large number of our members who have never played the course, I’m organizing a mid-week outing there on Tom’s behalf.

Date: Wednesday, June 20
Tee time: 3 foursomes, starting at 2.30pm
Price: $35 per player, including cart.

Congratulations to Donal Maher for his win today at Split Rock.  Complete report posted in Results page.

The draws for the Club Championship, B Scratch, Handicap and Partner’s Championships are all posted in the Championships page. Please play your matches as soon as possible. We are trying a new system that allows us to embed the draws on the website directly from where they are hosted. The advantage to this is that the website updates as soon as we update a winner in a match. The primary difference you should notice is that you will have to utilize a scroll bar to see the whole Handicap draw. If you are having any trouble with the Championship’s page, please let me know.

Please find below the tee times for this Sunday, June 3rd, at Split Rock. Those individuals highlighted in red or blue are playing against each other in the Individual Handicap Tournament. I normally pull this together in an Excel Spreadsheet, but am on the road in Cape Cod. Therefore, I am just typing them out below. I have not listed the handicaps since the new revised handicaps will be coming out on June 1st. We will forward those revised handicaps and have them ready for the event this Sunday. Finally, as you will note below, the last two groups are threesomes, so if you know of someone who still wants to play we have two remaining spots available. I would need to know those names by tomorrow. Everyone is also playing in the Individual Stableford Event this Sunday rather than our normal stroke play format.
