Hi, due to the great response from members wanting to play this Sunday, we were able to secure on additional foursome for a total of 9 full foursomes (36 golfers). That list of golfers is below. includes 25 golfers who have qualified for the Handicap Tournament, and most teams who have qualified for the Partners Tournament. I will match up all Handicap matches that can be played this Sunday and send out the tee times tomorrow. IF, however, you prefer to play your Partners Tournament rather than the individual Handicap Tournament, you must first confirm that with the opposing team and then inform me no later than today before I create the tee time sheets with matches first thing tomorrow morning. I have attached both brackets again above for you to review. You can also locate them on our website www.woodlawngolfclub.com

Attached please find the Brackets for the Handicap Tournament (32 golfers who shot a net 78 or better), and the Partners Tournament (8 teams). We are starting the Handicap Tournament this Sunday at Split Rock for all those who have qualified. If you prefer to play the Partners over the Handicap Tournament let me know no later than tomorrow, although it would be preferable to play the Handicap Tournament since there are so many players competing. If I do not hear from you, and one of your opponents is signed up to play, I will automatically set your match up for you this Sunday and send you the tee times on Friday. We have very few dates to play (see the deadlines on the brackets) so using this format, as we did last year, works great and gives you advance knowledge of your match. The A+B Scratch brackets won’t be set up until Saturday when the revised handicaps come out.

Hi, this is a final call to sign up for this Sunday’s Stableford Tournament at Split Rock beginning at 7:16 am as today is the deadline. We reserve 8 foursomes (32 golfers) for each event. As of now, we already have 7 foursomes (28 golfers) signed up. I can not guarantee that I will be able to get more than the 8 foursomes that we have reserved, meaning that there are four spots left. If I get more than four, I will try to get additional spots from Split Rock. If not, the first four to respond will be in.

Wednesday, May 29th, will be the deadline to sign up for the upcoming Stableford event this Sunday, June 2nd, at Split Rock beginning at 7:16 am. Our deadlines are normally on Tuesdays, but we are adding one day due to the possibility that people are traveling for Memorial Day Weekend.

The qualifiers for the Partners Championship were decided at the May 19th tournament. Based on their net scores on that day, here are the eight qualifying teams in seed order:

2nd Low Net (66) Brendan Flynn + Tom O’Meara

3rd Low Net (67) John O’Shea + Tim Bel

Attached please find the tee times for our Partners Tournament this Sunday, May 19th, at the Links beginning at 11:30 AM. Please be sure to sign in no less than 30 minutes prior to your tee time as normal.

This is a Partners Best Ball Tournament. In addition, it will serve as the Qualification for the Partners Competition thereafter where the lowest 8 partners scores will move forward and compete in the Partners Competition thereafter.

As a reminder, this is also the last event that you can qualify for the A+B Scratch, and Handicap Tournaments. We take the best gross and net scores from our first 4 tournaments. You can check how you stack up on our website at www.woodlawngolfclub.com.
