Thanks to the 23 guys who played. What started as a rainy morning cleared up into pretty good conditions on the last 11 holes. And at least it was not windy and cold after the rain abated.
The quality of play was surprisingly good for such an early date. Congratulations to the winner, John Solon, who reluctantly went out and then tore the course up, shooting an impressive 74. Well done John! Now he will sit at home in his pajamas all weekend watching the
Masters.

Guys, it’s time to get out and work on the short game. Our first tournament of the year (the Bill Marshall Invitational), will be held next Saturday morning at Split Rock. So please sign up to make your annual donation to the Marshall -Bennet team by Wednesday evening. This is a hard deadline as SR wants firm numbers by 8AM two days prior to our events. If you don’t have a partner, don’t worry, there will be plenty of singles. We only have 24 spots reserved and the long range forecast is for temperatures near 60…thanks , Jim
