July 8th Tournament Sign-up

PLEASE respond ASAP if you are going to participate in the next Woodlawn Golf Tournament scheduled for July 8th, at Split Rock, beginning at 7:16 am. Once I have received all those who intend to play, I will organize matches and set up TEE TIMES as normal so that you will know in advance who you will be playing, and at what time. I have no list as of now who will be playing, so please respond ASAP to this request. The absolute DEADELINE to enter will be Tuesday, July 3rd

Mount Airy Lodge – Saturday, June 30th

We are happy to announce that we have been able to book three (3) foursomes this Saturday, June 30th, to play at Mount Airy Lodge, in Mt. Pocono, PA, beginning at 11:40 am. We have an 11:40, 11:50, and noon tee times reserved. AS OF NOW we have 7 confirmed golfers attending which leaves 5 open spots. The first 5 to respond to this e-mail will secure these spots. So, if you want to play, clearly respond immediately(bmarshallsports@aol.com). We will need to confirm our final names of players to the by this Wednesday. The cost for the round is $ 60.00 which includes the golf cart. No lower priced option available for walkers as it’s difficult to walk this course. Sign up for June 16th Tournament

Hi,

This is a reminder that tomorrow (Tuesday, June 12th) is the deadline to sign up (email bmarshallsports@aol.com) for the Woodlawn Golf Event this Saturday, June 16th, at the Links beginning at noon. Once again, after we receive the final list tomorrow, we will go ahead and set up matches that are to be played this Saturday, and send you the tee times ahead of time. If you have a preference to compete in a certain match, please let me know by tomorrow. We will try to accommodate everyone as much as possible based upon the who is playing, and what deadlines we are facing.

Weekday Outing at Casperkill

We have been drawn against the Durty Nellys for our next round of Interclub.
That match is to be held at Casperkill in Poughkeepsie, on June 24. Match details and team composition will be decided by our team captain, Tom Bennett.

Considering the large number of our members who have never played the course, I’m organizing a mid-week outing there on Tom’s behalf.

Date: Wednesday, June 20
Tee time: 3 foursomes, starting at 2.30pm
Price: $35 per player, including cart.

Draws for Club Championship and B Scratch

The draws for the Club Championship, B Scratch, Handicap and Partner’s Championships are all posted in the Championships page. Please play your matches as soon as possible. We are trying a new system that allows us to embed the draws on the website directly from where they are hosted. The advantage to this is that the website updates as soon as we update a winner in a match. The primary difference you should notice is that you will have to utilize a scroll bar to see the whole Handicap draw. If you are having any trouble with the Championship’s page, please let me know.
