We will be having a meeting of the club before our next tournament on Sunday, May 18th. The meeting will start promptly at 10:00 AM so that we give people time to warm up before the tournament starts. One of the primary pieces of business to cover is the swearing in of new members, so we ask that those new members please make every effort to be there. Due to the desire to move the meeting along quickly, we ask that if you have a topic that you would like discussed at the meeting to please email me (j.omeara@inneradv.com) with that topic so we can add it to the agenda beforehand.

Only two more tournaments remain to qualify for the season-long championships. One is this Saturday. If you want to play and haven’t responded, please confirm your intent by tomorrow night ( Wednesday). Also, if you haven’t already done so, bring a check payable to the Woodlawn Golf Club for $250 to cover 2014 dues and one ticket to our year end awards dinner. The check should be given to Treasurer Pat Lafferty Saturday morning….Thanks to all

We have a couple of just a few spots left for Saturday’s competition, which starts at 10:54. The forecast has improved to where they are now saying high in the low 60’s with partly cloudy skies. I will send out groups,tee times, and course handicaps on Friday afternoon.

Again, I stress the importance of the first few groups setting a good pace so that we can all get around the course in a realistic time of under 4:20. I will tell you that if your group is slowing down play , you can expect to play in later groups as we go forward in the season.
